The salon, which recently secured a Five Star rating with the Good Salon Guide, started raising funds for the appeal a few months ago when they held a 1980s day at the salon. They then went on to open the show at the Loros 25th Anniversary Ball with a 12-model 1980s-themed hair show.

They said his enthusiasm and commitment to the charity and his work filtered throughout the whole of the evening, resulting in the models having the confidence and feeling a million dollars as they strutted down the catwalk. Their hair looked funky and fabulous and at the same time, the night raised over £3,000 for the charity.
