CLIPSO LAUNCH WIG SERVICE WITH JOHN LEWIS
Clipso Watford stylists, Jodie Alexander and Emily Pearson, joined the John Lewis team and launched Clipso's new 'Ready to Wear Wig' service as part of a special breast cancer awareness evening.
Sixty local women were invited to John Lewis in Watford to support a catwalk event to demonstrate their fighting spirit after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
The Clipso stylists were on hand to offer one-on-one advice to the women and introduce them to their new complimentary wig cutting service available to people undergoing chemotherapy. Nurses and hospice workers from Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre were also available to offer post-op advice to the guests.
The evening ended with a fun catwalk event where the audience cheered the non-professional models as they embraced their post-op lifestyles with new lingerie and clothes provided by John Lewis.
Russell McGrath, manager of Clipso Watford, explained,
"We recently launched across the Clipso group our 'Ready To Wear Wig' service and linking with John Lewis for this event was the perfect launch platform. It's a tight knit community in Watford and we're keen to support our customers and community with a complimentary service like this. Clipso's managing director Terry Calvert has himself undergone treatment recently so we're all very aware of the chemotherapy process and just want to help others going through the treatment. Jodie and Emily were amazing and we'll definitely be getting involved in more events like this in the future."
